I am a full time professional wildlife consultant and experienced
birder and naturalist. Occasionally I offer my services as a guide for visiting or
inexperienced people who are keen to see some wildlife. Individuals or groups may wish to see particular
British species, or just spend some time at a popular site or
habitat.
I am most familiar with the sites of South West Britain,
however I am willing to accompany people almost anywhere!
I have direct access to rare bird news and am usually one of the
first to know about rare birds in the South West, particularly
in Somerset.
I
live within walking distance of one of the primary birding sites
in Somerset, Berrow marsh and beach. Here are a wide variety of
elusive but sought after species such as Bearded Tit, Cettis Warbler
and Water Rail.
In the past I have accompanied foreign birders on holiday, film cameramen and local naturalists. All have had an excellent time! Please contact me for
further information and to see if I am available. I am particularly
willing to accept bribes from naturalists who can offer me similar
help abroad!
